River of Dreams

Margaret River is a small town in the far south west of Western Australia and it's also the heart of the wine region of the same name. Amongst the towering forests and rural dairy farms lays a winegrowing region that likes to take things slowly

The region is amongst Australia's largest and has been making wine for over 40 years. The best time of year is early autumn with its warm sun. The south westerly winds ease and form waves that roll relentlessly to shore. Many locals prefer to work the harvest by night and surf by day.
